In other automotive news, US sales of Toyota’s Prius topped 100,000 last year—which, to my surprise, is more than 8 times the total number of Hummer H1’s (the big, military grade ones) ever sold to the public. That said, Prius sales dipped a bit in April—though apparently because of a supply shortage, rather than a fall-off in demand.
