Hummer's sales being eclipsed by hybrids; small changes are just the beginning; profile.

The
rise in the sale of hybrids is an encouraging sign of Cascadia moving
toward a more secure future. The Cascadia Scorecard 2005-to be released
on February 25, 2005-takes a fresh perspective on the region's
security. The book examines the sources of Cascadia's vulnerability to
fundamental threats, from terrorism to climate change, and maps a path
to true security guided by the trends of the Cascadia Scorecard. Scorecard in Action: The year of 1 percent The region reached the vicinity of 1 percent on a number of heartening measures in 2004.
