Ho Sprawl and smart growth
The co-release of Sprawl and Smart Growth in Greater Vancouver (released September 2002) with Sightline was a fabulous success that gained tremendous media attention as well as interest from local government officials. Benefits of compact and mixed-use densities were demonstrated, as well as the effectiveness of our Agricultural Land Reserve. A value-added component to the release of the report is the ongoing opportunity to present the findings in presentations I've been making to a variety of audiences including the Vancouver Board of Trade, community forums, and the academic community.
