The 2007 edition of the Cascadia Scorecard, Sightline's regional gauge of progress, tracks seven key trends for the Northwest, including energy, sprawl, pollution, health, economy, population, and wildlife.

It finds that three years after the Scorecard was launched, the region still lags behind world leaders in critical trends such as energy efficiency and economic security. But the Scorecard has uncovered some surprisingly positive trends as well.
