In his first moments after being sworn in as the US Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy sought to reverse the Biden administrations’ regulations requiring passenger cars to be more efficient. The rule in question would require cars to be about 2% more fuel efficient each year.
The Biden administration on Wednesday took a step toward preventing dangerous “forever chemicals” from being released onto the market after a less rigorous review process.
