Citizens in the United States have to fight to exercise a right that is taken for granted in other advanced democracies: the right to vote. These burdens on citizens make US voter rolls more vulnerable to fraud because they are riddled with avoidable errors. Oregon is already, and Washington could start, honoring citizens’ right to vote while reducing the potential for fraud by automating clean and accurate voter rolls.
