Since 1993, Sightline Institute has centered the bioregion known as “Cascadia” in its mission, vision, and inspiration. We ask: “If we cannot dream up and test out solutions to some of our planet’s most pressing problems in the greenest region of the richest civilization in history, where can we do so?” 

Sightline Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank with staff and supporters across and beyond its borders. We endeavor to make Cascadia a global model of sustainability, with strong communities, a green economy, and a healthy environment.
