Arul Menezes
Arul Menezes is a 32-year veteran of Microsoft, where he worked on operating systems, embedded and mobile devices, speech and language technologies, artificial intelligence, and large language models. He founded Microsoft Translator and Skype Translator, the world’s first commercial live speech translator. 
Arul’s current focus area is investing in and advising startups in the areas of clean and sustainable technology.
He previously served on the board of The Nature Conservancy in Washington and is a member of the Northwest Conservation Fellows.
