Event: Celebrating People Power

Sightline Editor

May 24, 2012

YES! Magazine is back with an exciting 2nd Annual Celebration of People Power. Alice Walker, (The Color Purple, The Chicken Chronicles), and Frances Moore Lappé (Diet for a Small Planet, EcoMind) will be speaking about our power as change makers (something Sightline’s readers know a little something about). Hawaiian songwriter and artist Makana will be performing, too.

The event is in Seattle at Town Hall on Wednesday, June 6 (7:00 pm, doors open at 6:00 pm), and tickets are $25.

Get more info, or buy tickets, here.

See you there!
