Making Healthy Places

SwatchJunkies

September 13, 2011

How we build our communities impacts our health. Come hear local public health experts Andrew L. Dannenberg and Howard Frumkin discuss those connections and how we can build an environment that is good for humans and the natural world alike. They recently co-authored the book Making Healthy Places: Designing and Building for Health, Well-being, and Sustainability.

The event is September 20 at Seattle Town Hall from 6:00-7:30, hosted by Island Press. Tickets are just $5. Learn more.
