Serena Larkin

Serena Larkin is Sightline’s Senior Director of Communications, driving a comprehensive content strategy for Sightline research.

Serena worked for Sightline in its Seattle office from 2012–2017, then rejoined the organization in 2021 after several years away, time that included two month-long solo bike tours in the Northwest, organic farming stints in Missoula, Montana, and an apprenticeship with a rural Oregon bike hostel. She also previously worked for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, the Environmental Law and Policy Center, and as an AmeriCorps VISTA for Legal Aid Chicago. She holds a BA in humanities from Scripps College.

Serena currently lives in Chicago, where she enjoys biking, babysitting her nibling, and visiting the Midwest’s underappreciated parks, Great Lakes, and forests. Email her at serena@sightline.org and follow her on Bluesky or LinkedIn.
