Come Learn About Ocean Acidification

Sightline Editor

June 1, 2011

Regular readers have probably seen our newest series–Northwest Ocean Acidification–wherein researcher Jennifer Langston highlights and explains the growing problems associated with Northwest waters absorbing too much carbon.

Coincidentally, there are a couple great events coming up next week dealing with just that topic. Environmental Entrepreneurs and NRDC are cohosting workshops in Portland (June 9) and Seattle (June 8). They’ll feature former Congressman Brian Baird, NRDC’s senior oceans advocate, and a representative from the fishing industry.

You can read more about events over at the registration pages for Portland and Seattle.
