Frances Bula has been covering urban issues and city politics in Vancouver, British Columbia, since 2004, with a focus on housing and homelessness. Frances won the Atkinson Public Policy Fellowship in Canada in 1999, allowing her to research those topics around the world for a year. She currently writes for the Globe and Mail, BCBusiness, and Vancouver Magazine, and she lives in Vancouver.
