Portland’s Ecodistricts Summit

SwatchJunkies

September 5, 2012

Next month, the Portland Sustainability Institute will convene leaders from across the country to talk about achieving sustainability at the neighborhood level. There’s a seriously awesome lineup of speakers here.

Ecodistricts are a unique, comprehensive model of looking at sustainability at the local level. They tie green building and infrastructure planning with individual action to reduce energy use and resource consumption. Speakers will share examples from around the world, and discuss how to make them possible here in the Northwest.

The summit runs from October 23-26 at Portland State University. The schedule is available online. We’ll be there, hope to see you!

The details:

What: Ecodistricts Summit
When: October 23 – 26, 2012
Where: Smith Center, Portland State University
